WYC students won championship in the Hong Kong's Diverse Cultures Competition: Community Project Plan Design

We are thrilled to announce that the team of Fatima Mariam, Cheng Yuen Chi, Leung Wang Ho, and Au Yeung Choi Ying won the championship in Hong Kong's Diverse Cultures Competition: Community Project Plan Design. In addition, Cheng Yuen Chi was selected as one of the outstanding participants.

The team submitted a community project design plan, along with a 5-minute video pitch, to promote multicultural understanding in Hong Kong. Their outstanding performance and dedication to promoting multiculturalism in Hong Kong were recognized and appreciated by the judges.

As part of the Globally Minded Community Learning Programme, organized by The Education University of Hong Kong, our students attended workshops to examine the global values related to Hong Kong's diverse community and school contexts. They also participated in experiential activities to develop an awareness of the lives of learners from different cultural groups in Hong Kong. The competition concludes and demonstrates the achievement of the learning programme. Congratulations to the team on their outstanding performance!
