The 49th Graduation Ceremony

The 49^th Graduation Ceremony was held in the School Hall on 30^th June 2023. This was the first time since 2019 that our college was able to bring back the tradition of having all teachers on stage to bid farewell to the graduating class.

It was our honor to have invited Professor Lau Kin Tak, an alumnus of WYC and the newly appointed President of the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong, to be the guest of honor. Professor Lau delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging the graduating class to equip themselves well for the future and embrace the uncertainties in life.

To express their gratitude to the school and parents who had nurtured them, Poon Tsz Hei and Mak Long To Chris represented the Class of 2023 in giving votes of thanks to the school and parents respectively. The ceremony also included the presentation of long service awards to staff members in recognition of their years of commitment and contribution to the school.

In celebration of a new chapter for our graduates, each graduate received an exquisite WYC Graduation Bear prepared by the school to preserve cherished memories of their time on campus with teachers and classmates. The ceremony ended with a benediction by the school supervisor Rev. Dr. Lam Sung Che.

All the graduates joyfully engaged themselves in capturing memories by taking photos with their classmates, family members, and teachers.
