Special Announcement Regarding Arrangements for New S1 Students

The Education Bureau has announced that all classes will be suspended on 11 July.  Please note the following arrangements:

  1. The original whole-day registration arrangements for 10 July(Thursday) will remain unchanged. 
  2. The registration date originally scheduled for 11 July (Friday) will be changed to 14 July (Monday).
  3. The school introduction session originally scheduled for 11 July (Friday) will be postponed to 14 July (Monday), from 4 to 5 p.m. in the school's covered playground.

 

有關中一新生安排的特別通告

教育局已宣佈7月11日將會停課,請留意以下安排:

  1. 7月10日(四)的原定註冊安排將維持不變。
  2. 7月11日(五)辦理註冊手續的日期將改為7月14日(一)
  3. 原訂於7月11日(五)舉行的學校簡介會將順延至7月14日(一)下午4至5時於本校地下副堂舉行。

 

 

Notes to Applicants for S1 Registration Days (10-11 July 2025)

1. Documents required

a.     Admission Slip

b.     Hong Kong Birth Certificate, Hong Kong Identity Card or other documentary evidence showing the resident status in Hong Kong and date of birth for verification (If the student’s Hong Kong Identity Card bears the symbol ‘C’ [for conditional stay] at the line below the date of birth, please also bring along other valid travel documents).

 

2. School miscellaneous fee:HK$875

A cheque payable to “THE IMC OF WA YING COLLEGE”; or
cash of the exact fee (HK$1,000 banknote is not accepted)

 

3. Other fees

      a.     Parents are encouraged to join the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).  Parents may enroll as members of the PTA with a payment of HK$200 membership fee on-site. For more information, please contact the Parent Volunteers at the fee collection counter.

      b.     All S1 students are required to join the orientation day on 29 August 2025 and they will have their lunch at school.  The lunch box can be ordered on the registration day and the fee is $29.

     c.     All S1 students are required to join the bridging program on both 2 and 3 September 2025 and they will have their lunch at school.  The lunch boxes can be ordered on the registration day and the fee is $60.

 

4. To introduce our school to all newcomers, there will be a parent seminar on 11 July 2025. Parents and students who will newly join our college are welcome. The details are:

Time:       6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Venue:     School Hall

 

中一學生註冊日須知(2025年7月10日及11日)

一.   應備文件:

a.     入學註冊證

b.     香港出生證明書、香港身份證或載有本港居民身份和出生日期的證明文件,以供核對(如學生所持香港身份證上出生日期下有「C」字標記〔有條件限制居留〕,須同時帶備其他有效旅行證件。)

 

二.   學校雜費(港幣875元正)

如以支票交費,抬頭請寫「華英中學法團校董會」

如以現金交費,為免找續,請備輔幣(恕不接受港幣仟圓面額鈔票)

 

三.   其他費用:

a.     家長可於註冊日報名加入家長教師會,有意參加者請帶備所需費用(家長教師會會費港幣200元正)。家長如欲了解詳情,可於當日向負責收費的家長義工查詢。

b.     中一新生須於8月29日參加中一迎新活動日,當天同學須留校午膳,如欲訂購飯盒,請於註冊日訂購並繳付現金$29。

c.     中一新生須於9月2日及3日參加中一級銜接課程,這兩天同學須留校午膳,如欲訂購飯盒,請於註冊日訂購並繳付現金$60。

 

四.   本校於7月11日為所有新學年加入華英中學的家長及同學舉行迎新講座,讓閣下對本校有初步認識。講座詳情如下﹕

S1 Admission for Discretionary Places of 2025-2026

With the participation of candidates and parents, the interview day was successfully conducted on 15 March 2025.

 

As for the notification of results, please take note of the schedule below:

31 March 2025

(Monday)

 

The School will notify parents of all successful applicants of their children’s inclusion in the Successful Lists for Discretionary Places by letter and phone.

On or before 8 April 2025 (Tuesday)

If students are notified as successful DP applicants and they decide to decline the offer from the non-participating Direct Subsidy Scheme (NDSS) secondary school, parents could retrieve the signed Parent’s Undertaking and the original copy of the Primary 6 Student Record Form from that NDSS secondary schools on or before 8 April 2025.

(星期一)

本校將透過書面及電話通知所有正取學生家長,其子女已獲納入本校《自行分配學位正取學生名單》。

2025年4月8日

(星期二)或之前

收到正取通知並計劃入讀本校的家長,可於2025年4月8日(星期二)或之前向非參加派位直接資助計劃(直資)中學取消申請,並取回《家長承諾書》和《小六學生資料表》正本。

 

 

S1 Admission Interview for Discretionary Places of 2025-2026

  1. Letters were sent out to parents of all applicants on 5 March 2025 to inform whether the applicants have been shortlisted for interview on 15 March 2025 (Saturday).
  2. For parents who have not received the letters before 10 March 2025, please call the school office at 27607772 to make enquiries on 10 March 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

 

2025-2026年度中一自行收生面試安排

  1. 本校已於2025年3月5日向所有申請者的家長發信,通知申請者是否獲選參加2025年3月15日(星期六)的面試。
