As part of our growing sister school partnership with Beijing National Day Experimental School, 20 of our talented music students embarked on an unforgettable Beijing Music Tour, where music, cultural exchange, and new experiences came together in perfect harmony.
The tour began with a visit to Beijing National Day Experimental School, where our students participated in cultural exchanges and co-hosted a joint concert. They showcased their musical talents through two recorder ensembles, a string octet, and a captivating liuqin solo performance. This collaborative event not only strengthened cross-cultural bonds but also provided a unique opportunity for our students to perform alongside their peers, sharing musical traditions and learning from one another.
The students’ learning journey continued with an inspiring masterclass led by Steven Liu from The Tianjin Juilliard School. This session offered valuable insights into musical artistry and performance, leaving a lasting impression on the young musicians.
Beyond the concert halls, the group explored the cultural and historical richness of Beijing. Highlights included a visit to the iconic Great Wall of China and the prestigious National Centre for the Performing Arts.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sister school for their warm hospitality, as well as the teachers and parents, whose contributions made this enriching journey possible.
