The Wa Ying College Campus Enhancement Project Dedication Ceremony was successfully held on 8 November 2025 in the school's newly renovated Lobby. We were deeply honoured to have pastors, IMC members, alumni, parents, teachers, and students gather to witness God's grace. It has been over half a century since our school was re-established in Hong Kong. For the well-being of every stakeholder and to provide a higher quality learning and teaching environment, the school decided to carry out the Campus Enhancement Project. This Dedication Ceremony marks the completion of the first phase, and we offer our gratitude to the Lord for it.
The ceremony was presided over by Vice Principal, Ms. Cheuk Fai. The ceremony commenced with a hymn. Following this, School Supervisor Reverend To Man Ling led the congregation in a responsive prayer, giving thanks to the Lord for the completed first phase of the improvement project.
To symbolise the unity of the school and the passing on of its legacy, distinguished guests presented the three symbolic items from the school emblem. The guest presenters included Ms. Wong Kin Yu (daughter of the founding School Supervisor, Reverend Wong Tsok), former School Supervisors Reverend Li Ping Kwong and Reverend Lam Sung Che, early alumnus Mr. Ko Ying, former school manager Mr. Wong King Wah, current School Supervisor Reverend To Man Ling, PTA Chairman Mr. Lo Kwok Ki, Alumni Association Chairman Mr. Yan Yu Sing, and Principal Wun Chi Wa. The three items—the Anvil, the Encyclopaedia, and the Bible—were brought forward by student representatives Ms. Yu Ka Yu (Student Union President), Mr. Lam Shing Chun (Head Prefect), and Mr. Chan Yuen Sang (Student Christian Fellowship Senior Group Leader) respectively, symbolising the inheritance of the philosophy of nurturing life.
Following the presentation, the guests, joined by the Guest of Honour of this year's school anniversary, Professor Lee Chi Kin, former Principal Tsang Kai Man, and alumnus Mr. Lam Ka Shing, unveiled the new facilities together. Afterwards, Reverend Lam Sung Che led a prayer of supplication, followed by the congregation singing a hymn. The ceremony concluded with a benediction from Reverend Li Ping Kwong.
The Dedication Ceremony was filled with gratitude and joy, marking a new milestone for Wa Ying College as it moves towards an even better environment for learning and teaching.
