S5 Purpose Driven Camp 2026
14 July, 2026

The S5 Purpose-Driven Camp and the Pass-it-On Tea Gathering were successfully held at Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village from 3 to 5 July 2026. Supported by our dedicated alumni across five domains, these life-planning events marked a significant milestone for S5 students, providing them with meaningful opportunities to envision their future with clarity and confidence.

The camp began with blessings from the Principal, Dr. Wun, and Dr. Yau Kin, President of the Alumni Association. Students and committed alumni then engaged in a lighting ceremony, followed by a prayer of Thanksgiving and Blessing hosted by Dr. Yau. These moments strengthened bonds while reminding students of the boundless opportunities awaiting them through determination and support.

Our alumnus, Chan Chi Kin (Him House), served as the guest speaker for a keynote speech hosted by Mr. Ng Chi Wui, Vice President of the Alumni Association. He spoke to our S5 students on "Career Navigation in the AI Era: Finding Your Life Goals and Direction." This timely and thought-provoking topic resonated deeply with the students, helping them understand how rapidly evolving technologies are reshaping the professional landscape and inspiring them to cultivate adaptability alongside their personal aspirations.

The Pass-it-On Tea Gathering followed, showcasing the strength of mentorship. Twenty-four university alumni from five professional fields, including Medicine and Health Care, Science and Engineering, Law and Business Administration, Social Sciences, Social Services and Education, and Arts and Architecture, led small group discussions tailored to students’ interests. These sessions offered academic advice, practical guidance, and insights into various professions, empowering students to make informed decisions about their future.

The camp also featured team-building activities and a campfire, facilitated by university alumni, aiming to motivate students as they prepare for the DSE examination and future studies. Through teamwork and encouragement, students are left equipped to face upcoming challenges with confidence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our alumni for their unwavering support. Their active involvement in the S5 Purpose-Driven Camp and the Pass-it-On Tea Gathering has inspired our students to pursue their dreams with courage, determination, and a clear vision for a bright future.
