From 7 to 11 April 2026, a joint delegation of nine dedicated students from our school and Sha Tin Methodist College embarked on an impactful five-day service tour to Cambodia. Organized by The Methodist Church, Hong Kong, this annual initiative provided a profound opportunity for students to deliver hands-on community service, gain insight into Cambodian history, and build meaningful cross-cultural connections.

The service itinerary spanned a wide array of local institutions, including churches, childcare centers, an AIDS patient care facility, soup kitchens, and a youth detention center. At the Glory Methodist Church, students led engaging English classes incorporating origami and interactive games like Charades. At Metta Mission & Community Services, students supported dental health sessions conducted by alumnus dentist Dr. Tse Sie Ming and his wife, while at the DAIL Community of Cambodia, the team prepared meals in the soup kitchen, provided hair washing services for street children, and shared uplifting hymns.

Beyond volunteer outreach, the excursion offered students valuable perspectives on local societal developments and historical contexts. The transformative journey fostered empathy, teamwork, and a profound sense of gratitude among all participants.
