This past August, our students stepped out of the classroom and into the professional world through the LPEC Job Shadowing Programmes. Spanning six diverse areas, Law & Business Administration, Speech Therapy, Chinese Medicine, Geriatrics, Dentistry, and Optometry, this immersive initiative provided participants with invaluable firsthand experience alongside industry leaders.

In the legal field, selected students completed an intensive three-day placement at a local law firm, where they gained practical insights into legal research, client consultation, and courtroom proceedings. Meanwhile, students interested in medicine and healthcare gained crucial practical experience across various specialized clinical settings throughout the summer. They immersed themselves in the daily operations of a Chinese Medicine clinic, a geriatric care nursing home, a speech therapy outreach team for the elderly, a dental care centre, and an optometry clinic.
